WES mod running the Porsche P1 car
driving on Vitua_LM tracks

The car and track really dont seem to make any difference as the problem persists on every track and car I have tried.

I have installed real feel mod with the LEO.dll plugin. I followed the instructions in the better FFB post. I adjusted the RF from max level to no multiplier at all. I have changed the stiffness of stationary wheels in the LEO file from 45.0 to 0.0. I have changed the caster to the lowest setting the game allows.

In all cases I have a tremendous amount of wheel shake and vibration at speed when driving in a straight line. The wheel also pulls from side to side when sitting still. This is not nearly as important to fix as the wheel shake at speed is. Am I missing something simple? Did I make a mistake when setting up the plugin? any help would be greatly appreciated as I am at a loss and the shaking is ruining my racing experience.

sounds like your FFB negative instead of positive or the other way around........

The wheel pulling side-to-side is like MystaMagoo says .......... reverse your FFB.
And if any further harsh shaking occurs, then my guess would be a suspension issue (.pm file).
Steering arms too close to the front wheels in the .pm file.

Is it the same without using the Plugin?

I have not pulled the plugin yet. I'll try that next. I am assuming you mean the whole RF plugin including the LEO.dll? If I pull only the LEO.dll will that only effect the FFB while the car is standing still?

As far as the negative FFB, it is fine and pulls appropriately once the car starts rolling above 10 MPH.

I have to imagine that as popular as the WES Mod is that if the .pm file was goofed up it would have been noted somewhere else before.

I love the FFB of the realfeel plugin so I dont want to have to uninstall the plugin if I cant get this shaking issue figured out.

Most of us have to set ffb to negative with Logitech wheels, its a common issue, I would at least try it.

Depco, can you post the .pm file, along with the .hdv & .tbc file for the car in question.

Yes, the best would be, you remove all folders and files from the Plugins folder to e.g. a new folder on the desktop, except:
- the folder "Miles"
- NetCommUtilPlugin.dll
- RaceCastPlugin.dll
- rFactorTrackIRPlugin.dll

And then try again if the shaking is still there.

Ill try to pull the plugin folder and see how it works tonight if I can get time.

Well I pulled the LEO plugin and no change. Then I pulled the whole RF plugin. That brought everything back to default. With no shake. I installed the plugin again and turned off the real feel option in the tuning section of the car. wheel shake was again present.

In the end I simply uninstalled real feel and had to use the stock FFB from the mod.
