Re-activating rfactor after installing Win7

Win7 install went fine, no problems at all. rFactor 2 is up and running. rfactor 1 . . . not so much.

I am not about to give up rfactor 1, so forget that sh*t.

stupid window comes up says I have to be connected to the internet . . .then it closes. I AM CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET! browser works, rfactor 2 works, rfactor 1 works (albeit only for the next 30 minutes or so)

oh, what to do ??
 
You will need a new version of rF1 aswell as a new activation key. The version you have is trying to connect with Trymedia servers which are no longer available. ISI use their own activation services for rF1 now, pretty much the same as rF2.
