Can't edit car setups

Hello,

So i have a Shift Street Mod 061b and i can't edit any of the car's setups, it just doesn't allow to make changes. Tried editing setup files, but it didn't help. Editing .hdv file in GameData/Vehicle/*mod* works, but it's too hard for me to understand all options and how to set it up.
Please answer, thank you
 
What means "i can't edit"?

Are the Options greyed out or are they changeable but the changes have no effect?

And is it a special car or more/all?

Options are greyed out and they are not changeable. Same is on every car in Shift Street Mod 061b
 
First Rule: be patient.

To your problem:
the only way to solve that is to edit the HDV and engine.ini files.

All options that are greyed out are kind of deactivated.
You find entries that include the term "Range" and they e.g. look like this:
FrontAntiSwayRange=(20000.0, 20000.0, 25)
FrontAntiSwaySetting=16
And when its greyed out in the menu, the last value (i marked it in pink) is set to 0 or 1.
To activate it, you have to set it to a higher value.
But if you do it, i would recommend that you choose a higher value as it is maybe given in the ...Setting line (16 here).
The pink number defines the number of possible steps (clicks) that are available.

Damn, how could i miss that...
Thanks mate it works. I wonder what the hell was the dude, creating the mod, thinking, now i have to edit all the hdv files :s
