Another tragedy: Sean Edwards

Black75

I just read this twitt from M.Brundle:

Martin Brundle ‏@MBrundleF1 ora
Terribly sad news re the death of Sean Edwards, a very talented racer. Condolences to his family and friends. Motor sport can be too cruel

true words at the end of his twitt. :(

It semas Sean was in the passenger seat of a 996 drived by a 20year old guy (i can't find particulars of him, but he is in bad conditions) at Queensland Raceway (Australia), during a session test.

Edwards, 26 years old, was leading the Porsche Supercup scores with 18 pts. advantage on the 2nd.

Very Sad news, someone who contributed to plenty of rfactor mods heavily.

And this time comes to light an aspect of racing world i never considered before: a lot of drivers take risk not only by driving in the Championship they run.
It is an act of immense generosity and love for the sport itself to take more risks instructing young drivers.

One of those weeks you just wish you could turn the clock back on or forget entirely. First, Maria...now Sean.
R.I.P... and condolences to both families.

It's a shame, such a young driver. I know him from Porsche Supercup, really sad news. :(

This is terrible news, once again :( it appears to have been a very hard crash.

To those interested, here the news report:

Sean, Rest in Peace

There was just nothing left of that car... :( Got to question the safety of that vehicle...

I remembered him winning the Dubai 24 Hours 2012 and 2013. And was also a winner for the Black Falcon team at the Nürburgring 24 this year and the Long Beach round of the American Le Mans series in the GTC class.

That was one of the most tragic incident happened. I feel sad about it too like you guys. :(
