AIW editor not working with latest Win10 update!?

Hi,
i really hope to receive an answer from ISI regarding this topic.
After the latest win10 update suddenly the AIW editor stopped working.
the program doesn´t even start anymore.
rFactor itself runs smoothly.

Is there a chance to get the editor working again.
An answer would be highly appreciated, thanks!
 
i've been waiting 2 months for a fix for the same problem your having.
 
Well, it seems that ISI is not giving a damn thing about rF1 anymore.
I was afraid not to receive an answer and so far i am right, sadly enough.......

so no new tracks for my beloved rF1 anymore!?
 
I don't use Win 10, so i can't reproduce it, but you wrote:

Does it mean that it did run on Win 10 before?
I ask because some people who used Win 8 and 8.1 had the same problem and couldn't solve it/ got no response from ISI.

What you could do, is to find out which Update causes that the AIW Editor don't works anymore, and undo it then.
 
It was running with Win10 at least on my pc.
After the huge win 10 update last week it stopped working.
I guess it may has to do with the .dll files coming with the Editor.
binkw.dll and mss32.dll
the editor just don´t start anymore:-(

Any answer from ISI would be highly appreciated....
 
Are you using the original ISI AIW-Editor?
As long as i know and always used, it includes only the exe file and the DEVFILES folder, but no additional files.
 
Of course i use the original one, i am not aware of any customized version.
i maybe just had the .dll files saved together with the editor.
but anyway, since the rFactor.exe is using the same dll files, it should not cause the non-function.

The editor has just stopped working after the WIN10 Update and was working like charm before that.
Anyway, I didn´t touch the original files inside the game folder so it has to be OS related.
