Suspension file - questions

We know that all suspension points on a car's body, in Y axis, should be provided in relation to horizontal reference plane which is typically flat bottom of a racing car.

What about vertical plane (so coordinates in Z axis)? Is it in the middle between front and rear axis? Or maybe where CoG is?
