rFactor Portable

Hello guys!

I've recently been assigned a computer from work which is really bloody quick on CAD software. I want to play rFactor on the computer but can't install it. I've seen some apps and games that run directly from a USB memory stick without the need to install on the computer. How can I make this happen with rFactor? is it possible?

you could try just putting the shortcut to the exe on the desktop and make sure it points to the usb drive ( never tried but might work) although you would still need the correct files in the registery of the pc.
 
rFactor will run just fine from a USB drive. Sow but it will run fine. rFactor's installer puts a few things in the registry but none of it is needed. The only thing you will needed to do is activate it. Just copy the rFactor directory from another install you have on another computer then verify that all the paths in the config.ini are all relative paths.
