rFactor crashing to desktop

I just made an fresh install of Win7 Ultimate 64bit and also an fresh install of rFactor and got problems with running rFactor.

In a nutshell my problem is: everything is going fine until I'm trying to load any track. And I mean ANY track. When I click "Race" on the bottom right corner, the game crashes immediately into my desktop. No error messages, nothing. It just crashes.

I've tried to solve this problem by myself, but now I'm out of ideas. I've turned off UAC, tried to run it in Win XP compatibility mode and as an administrator. No help at all. Have tried DestroY rFactor Tweaker also without any success. Tried different resolutions, anti-aliasing, V-Sync etc. etc. and still have CTD.

I have no mods, tracks, plug-ins or add-ons installed so it can't be because any of them.

So... Is there really anything that I can do with this issue or do I just have to dump the whole idea of playing rFactor? :(

My OS is Win7 Ultimate 64bit (as said above) and my GPU is XFX Radeon HD 5770. Have more than sufficient CPU and memory.

If anyone have some idea to fix this issue, I'd be more than happy.
 
I can see no problem with your setup so far, but have you also installed Service Pack 1 for Windows 7 and updated it to the latest? And did you let the installer run the DirectX setup?

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit SP1 with all auto updates installed and have a Radeon HD 5770 as well.

You might also try to create a new player profile inside rFactor, leave it at the default settings, and try if that works. Or even more agressive, rename your "Userdata" to something else, while the program is not running. Then start it again, the folder will be created as if it were a fresh installation.

Those are my usual suspects.

Win7 64, radeon 6870, fx 4100.
