My rfactor1 has stopped running, wont boot past the logo. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail.....

A little more information would help.... 
You say "has stopped running", so it was running before?
What did change since then?
Did you install new mods/tracks, other software, driver.....

Yes to both questions it has run before and I have installed other mods

Then i would say it is caused by a mod that you have installed.
In this case i would suggest to install rFcator again over the existing installation. That should solve problems caused by mods.
But you've said you did uninstall and reinstall it already. When you make a fresh install without any mod-content, is that running?
