People see my car blinking...

What causes my car to blink in multiplayer? I don't see any stutters or anything on my screen so I am unclear what causes this. I'm reasonably sure it's not internet speed or anything like that, so what other possibilities exist? Probably a vague question, I'm just at a loss.

Are you using a custom skin? it could be the skin having some issues.

If not, does this happen with a particular mod or all mods?

And is it on a server or are you hosting the game? it might not be internet speed but then again it might well be, if your connection sux compared to those around you, a server will struggle to update your car and that struggle will translate onto others.
Usually that results in your car sliding around and disappearing for milliseconds but I wont be surprised if a skin issue would be related.

I'm not sure what you mean with "blinking".

But if you mean "lag", i can say that i've heard so many people, that had lag, say this:

Even if you have an online-connection-speed of 50.000 kbit/s or more, you can have lag when you e.g use w-lan or have your pc connected to a network at your home, where other machines run and are online at the same time.
And check the settings for the connection in game.

And massive speed doesn't mean there's no packet loss. But agree that without a better description of the problem it's hard to guess what it could be.

This. I has 160 down, 10 up but was suffering blinking because of packet loss.
