Fresnel Shader

Hi, I hope this is the right place to post this. Basically I am looking for some info on the new fresnel shader for rFactor and how to render a texture for it to apply in 3dsimed. What I mean is, i don't need help on how to render a texture, that I can do, lighting maps, diffuse maps, spec maps etc etc.

This fresnel has me kind of lost and I am very eager to learn more.

Hope someone can spare the time to help.
