Hello, another question, a lot of people are putting DRS onto cars but they are just boosting power to simulate a reduction in drag, does anyone if it is possible to reduce the downforce aswell by using a different preset rear wing?
Not using what the game gives you, no. Using the engine boost for DRS obviously means you can't use it for anything else (setting your boost/mixture level), so it removes one potential feature in order to implement another. The game itself doesn't provide any means of reducing your drag or wing level while in the car, so there's nothing to exploit for DRS.
There are other possibilities (isn't there always?) but using the engine boost is the cleanest one.
I have seen in a video when someone uses DRS they can change the look of a car by pressing a button and raising the top element of a wing is there any way to cheat this into reducing downforce??
No, that's a graphical thing only. Graphics (models) and physics are completely separate things.
The other ways (for DRS) are a bit dodgy in method, and hopefully rF2 will provide built-in mechanisms, so I don't think it's worth discussing to be honest.
