ChildishGambino
Hello,
I've recently installed a trial for rFactor (my computer is not powerful enough to run rFactor 2).
I previously had a trial for the game (which I never activated) and really enjoyed playing it, and have now decided to re download the game with the intention of activating it.
Unfortunately, my computer got reformatted and I lost the installation I previously had (hence why I am trying to install it again). The installation process is fine, works as expected and the game launches, however, when it gets to the profile screen (where you create the racer for the first time), the game freezes. All sound works, my cursor moves, but I cannot click anything.
I know literally nothing about computers and the PC is kinda old, so I don't have the manual or anything to look at the specs. What I do know is it is a Dell (was top of the range about 5 years ago), has an nVidia graphics card and runs on Windows XP. I know the specs are capable of running the game as it was fine in the previous installation.
Any suggestions for what I can do to get the game started up would be massively appreciated, I realise that nobody will be able to give me an exact step by step guide as it could be a range of things, but any advice would be brilliant.
Thanks
