Can't join servers

Hey,

I just purchased from steam for $6, the game works well without any problem, but the only problem i have got that i can't join any server, so what is the reason ?

Do i need to add the mod for each server like Profject D 2.31 or else ?

You can only join servers that you have their content installed yes.
You need both mods and tracks.
